Khokan is a resident of Dhaka and is currently associated with Nahid Islam's party. Khokan also receives a pension from the government for participating in the July movement. What did Khokan say in his testimony?

According to local media, Khokan has said in his testimony how the police were shooting people in front of me. Khokan gave a live description of the deaths that took place near Jatrabari police station in the court. According to the report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, about 1400 people were killed in Bangladesh during the rule of Sheikh Hasina.

Among them were 108 children. More than 15 thousand people were injured. However, the interim government has not been able to confirm these figures yet. Due to the long-running movement, Sheikh Hasina finally had to leave power in Bangladesh on 5 August 2024.
